Services Planned For Former Mayor Richard Brundo

Richard "Dick" Ross Brundo, a former Mayor and City councilman in Culver City died on Monday March 28. He was 74.

Brundo served 12 years on the council from 1974 until 1986. He was defeated for a fourth term in 1988. He served several terms as Mayor. He owned and operated Brundo Interiors on Sepulveda Blvd.

He was a member of the Culver City Exchange Club since 1965 and was recently honored with a lifetime membership to the club for his work.

He is survived by his wife Alida Ostler Brundo and two children, Kathleen Brundo and Richard "Rick" Brundo II.

A viewing will be held at Gates, Kingsley Gates in Culver City on Friday April 22 from 4pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be held the following day Saturday April 23 in the chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City at 12:30 pm followed by the burial.
