Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Marguerite Sylvia Grunseth Wild age 93 died peacefully in her sleep on Valentine's Day in Culver City,where she had lived since 1946.

Marguerite was born on August 8, 1922 in the village of Ingram, Wisconsin. Of Norwegian descent, her parents were Butler A. Grunseth and Karen (Carrie/"Ma") Malina Waage Grunseth. Marguerite was the 10th of 11 children, born over a 28 year period.

A veteran of World War II, Marguerite enlisted in the WAVES, where she met her husband of 47 years, Caryll Harris Wild. They were married on January 5, 1946.

They proudly parented four children, Janice (Rob) Barber, Charlyn (Jack) Barton, Rick (Julie) Ahern Wild, and Lori (James) Wild Frangipane.

Marguerite and Caryll's lives centered around their family business, Stellar Hardware (Steller and Skoog), and Culver-Palms United Methodist Church.

Marguerite was active with CC Optimists, CC OptiMrs, Farragut, El Rincon, Culver Jr & high school PTA's, Scouts, Culver City Art Society, Red Hats, Senior Center, Women's Fellowship Circle, Barman Ave Club, and their pinochle club that met monthly for 40 years.

A talented artist, Marguerite took up oil painting and sculpture in the 1960s. Marguerite earned her Associate of Arts college degree in 1976 from West LA

College, when she was 53 years of age. Marguerite is survived by her brother Dale, her fourchildren, nine grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

Marguerite lived a life full of love and left a Christian legacy to her family and friends.
