USC Men, Women Are On The Tournament Bubble

When the 2015-16 basketball season started both the USC men’s and women’s teams were winning games and their hopes were high. A few months later hope has turned to desperation now that both teams have started losing games.

Now they find themselves in must win situations if they expect to make the NCAA Tournament.

The women played their first game in Pac-12 Tournament Thursday, March 3 and if they win that game they will face No. 1 seeded Oregon State on Friday. If they advance pass Oregon State they will play a semi-final game on Saturday and the championship contest will be played on Sunday. Their record is currently 6-12 in conference play and 18-12 overall.

The USC men are 8-8 and 19-10 and they play the Oregon schools this week. Last Wednesday they played Oregon State and Saturday they will battle Oregon at 1 p.m. at the Galen Center on the USC campus.
