Rose Bowl Says No To NFL

As the competition among various sites continues among NFL teams considering a move to Los Angeles one option for a temporary site has apparently been eliminated.

Whether an NFL team will play in a stadium at Hollywood Park or one in Carson when it is built none is likely to play the first two years in the Rose Bowl.

Rose Bowl officials have decided to end dialogue with the NFL because a plan to construct a music venue there is favored.

As a result the Rams, Chargers, Raiders or anyone else will have to consider other temporary sites including the Coliseum.

The NFL is considering granting a franchise move to LA for the 2016 season.
