Culver City Observer -

Let's Party with the Puppies

When Adopt & Shop opened in Culver City last May it became the only nonprofit pet retailer in the state and yet it did so much more.

In just one year they've provided nearly 900 pets with homes.

Adopt & Shop celebrates its first year in Culver City this Saturday, May 16 from noon to 4 p.m.

In addition to pets to play with or adopt the party will include "treats for pets" and people too with an array of food trucks on hand. Giveaways and raffles and games for all

Be sure to return on Saturday, May 30 for a Kitten Shower. The "goal is to give as many kittens as possible a second chance by placing them in foster care until they are old enough for adoption."

The center accepts donated goods too.

Did you know the month of May is National Pet Month? And what better way to celebrate our furry friends than with adopting one. Found Animals' Adopt & Shop launched one year ago in support of a single belief: all pets deserve a home. They are a community of humane adoption and retail centers, staffed by passionate volunteers and store associates who help make sure every pet has a

safe haven.

While others do great work to support animals, Adopt &Shop offers total care for your dog or cat . Since their adoptable dogs and cats come from local shelters, every adoption saves the life of an at-risk animal.
