Come celebrate Planet Earth with all your senses! The fantastic eco-friendly folks at STAR Education are throwing their annual Children’s Earth Day Extravaganza in the only way they know how...HUGE! GREEN! AND FOR ALL AGES! This mega celebration will feature lively music, celebrities, eco-themed games, exotic food, creative crafts, prizes, face painting, and more -nothing in Los Angeles can compare to this event! More than 40,000 people attended last year’s LA Times’ “Best Earth Day Pick” and LA Parent Magazine’s “Best Children’s Earth Day.

Join STAR Eco Station, as we promote “PRESERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION”! The entire day is planned as a multisensory experience that can be SEEN, TASTED, HEARD and FELT through inspired performances, local crafts, culinary delights, exciting exhibits and celebrity guests from ABC, Disney, FOX, CBS, the CW, Amazon, and Nickelodeon! This is a celebration for the entire community - admission is free - and there's something for every person of every age. In addition to businesses that care about our environment, there will also be community leaders, environmental agencies and other nonprofit exhibitors ready to share what they know and how to get involved. The Children's Earth Day is also a perfect time to visit the EcoStation Museum, offering tours for only $5 a person that include the new Wolf Experience guaranteed to cause some "ooohs" and "awwhhs". Over 200 rescued exotic animals are fluffing their feathers and fur in anticipation of all the fun! There’s plenty of parking, so come early and plan on enjoying the party all day!

This year, STAR invites a unique way to express your individual commitment to the EARTH: #MyEarthDayPledge! Share your Earth Day plans on social media using the hashtag #MyEarthDayPledge and tell us how you plan to improve your community, preserve our natural resources and save our planet. Join the fun of being in a worldwide community with this interactive movement! Everyone at Children’s Earth Day can learn something about how great it is to be green!
