Grand Theft Auto:

On March 1 Officers responded to the 11400 block of McDonald to investigate the theft of vehicle. The officers met with the victim who explained he parked his 2001 Chevy cargo van in front of his residence on February 27 at about 4 p.m. When he returned to the area on March 1 at about 2 p.m. he learned his vehicle had been stolen.

Commercial Burglary:

On March 1 at about 2:45 a.m. officers responded to burglar alarm call in the 3800 block of Overland Ave. When the officers arrived on scene they learned the suspect gained entry into the business by smashing the front window. Once inside they stole several items and fled the area.

Theft from Vehicle

On February 27 at 11:30 p.m. a victim called the station to report that someone stole his catalytic converter. The victim parked his 2003 Honda Element in the 4000 block of Centinela Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. on February 27. He returned the same evening at about 11:15 and learned that someone stole the vehicle's catalytic converter.

Vandalism:

On March 2 at about noon a building manager called the station to report a vandalism that occurred in the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard. Sometime between 7 p.m., March, 1 and 9 a.m. the following day, someone threw a softball size rock through a business owner's window.

Petty Theft

On February 23 a victim called the station to report a theft that occurred a few weeks ago. According to the victim, the suspect stole several pieces of stainless steel pipe from his business, loaded it into a Target Shopping cart and left the area.
