The California Department of Conservation's Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) has announced dates for hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments on the Revised Proposed SB 4 Regulations in five cities across the state.

While the regulations that come out of this rule making process must be finalized by January 1, 2015, the Environmental Impact Report required by SB 4 will not be completed until July, 2015. This means that the permanent regulations will be completed before DOGGR has a full understanding of the impact of well stimulation treatments.

These hearings will NOT be live streamed, so if you wish to watch you must attend at one of the following dates and locations.

Santa Maria -- July 15, Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors' chambers, 511 East Lakeside Parkway, 4-7 p.m.

Long Beach -- July 17, Convention & Entertainment Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, 4-7 p.m.

Sacramento -- July 21, California Natural Resources Agency Auditorium, 1416 Ninth Street, 4-7 p.m.

Bakersfield -- July 23, Kern County Board of Supervisors' chambers, 1115 Truxtun Avenue, 4-7 p.m.

Salinas -- July 23, National Steinbeck Center, Salinas Room, One Main Street, 4-7 p.m.
