Culver City's recently installed Mayor Meghan Sahli-Wells will be the guest speaker at the Culver City Democratic Club's monthly meeting on Wednesday June 11. She will present her views and plans for the upcoming year including a review of the 2014-15 budget. A general discussion of the California Primary Election which took place on June 3 will also be held. Sahli-Wells was elected to the city council in 2012 and was elected mayor this year by her fellow councilmembers as a part of an annual rotation.

The Culver City Democratic Club meets the second Wednesday of each month from 6:45 to 9:00pm in the Rotunda Room at Veterans Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Avenue, Culver City.
