Sex Trafficking Program at Culver-Palms Church

The Social Justice & Mission Ministry Team at Culver-Palms United Methodist Church will present a luncheon program on Sunday, March 23, from noon until 1:15 pm.

Grecia Reyes, who holds a Master's degree in Transformational Urban Leadership, will speak about her work in India in programs to rehabilitate women formerly involved in the sex trade.

Reyes will also discuss Freeset, a business that transforms the lives of these women by giving them the chance to support themselves by sewing products that are sold online worldwide. Some of these useful items will be available for sale.

Admission to the program is free; however, the cost for an optional buffet lunch is $7. Reservations are essential. Please RSVP to the church office at (310)390-7717 or by email: .

Be sure to say whether you are reserving for the program only or for the program plus lunch. The deadline for lunch reservations is Friday, March 21, at 2 pm.

Culver-Palms United Methodist Church is located at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City. Parking is available behind the church.
