You too can be a part of the Magical Mystical Marvelous Mayhem hosted by the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center. The group's annual major fundraiser is on Saturday, March 15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Culver City.
California State Senator Holly J. Mitchell will be honored at the event for her tireless efforts in the field of health and services for children and families, as well as her support of the Health Center.
The Saint Patrick's Day themed event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction, music provided by Ronnie Jayne, well known entertainer and Culver City resident, a no host bar, and continues with dinner, entertainment, and a live auction.
Noted cabaret performer and songwriter Ray Jessel will perform his Irish flavored songs and add humor. Jessel has years of experience writing comedy and music for many television shows and specials.
A unique online auction that begins February 22 will be part of the fundraising effort. The website is www.biddingforgood.com/CCYHC4. Items on the site include restaurants, vacation, and household bargains.
All proceeds go to the Culver City Youth Health Center located on the campus of Culver City Middle and High School. The Health Center is operated by the Venice Family Clinic and provides free, quality health care for Culver City students.
Some of the services offered are physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, care for ongoing illnesses and conditions, prescription medications, and mental health counseling provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center.
