There are several events coming up in March through the Friends of the Library.

Tuesday, March 4 will be a special story time at 7 pm, with Culver City's Dr. Janet Hoult. She will be sharing her book, Where Did the Sun Go?

Janet will be donating copies to the J. Dixon Library, and is also donating all proceeds to her book sold on March 4 to the Griffith Park Friends of the Observatory (FOTO).

Saturday, March 8 will be a book sale. As usual, the sale will run from 9 am to 3 pm. Volunteers are needed to set up at 7:30 am. Lunch will be provided for our volunteers.

Please let the library know if you are available to help. high school students can earn their volunteers credit hours.

Both events will be held at the Julian Dixon Library located at 4970 Overland Avenue in Culver City.
