Dog Walk at Vets Park Considered

February 20, 2014

The Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services will consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding designating a dog Path on the Sidewalk/Walkway within Veterans' Memorial Park that connects the Culver Boulevard parking lot to Barman Avenue at the meeting on Tuesday March 4.

The Commission is seeking community input on allowing members of the public to walk dogs on leashes through Veterans' Memorial Park on the sidewalk/walkway within the Park located behind the Veterans' Memorial Building and the Teen Center and in front of the entrance to the Plunge. This walkway runs parallel to Overland Avenue, connecting the Culver Boulevard Parking Lot to Barman Avenue

The meeting will be held in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Boulevard at 7:o0pm.

Anyone unable to attend the meeting but wishes to provide the commission with written comment may do so by contacting Patricia Mooney, PRCS Department Senior Management Analyst before 5:30 p.m. on March 4, by email at Patricia.Mooney@CulverCity.org or by telephone at 310-253-6668.
