Culver City Votes Armenta

December 12, 2013

While Sebastian Ridley-Thomas was elected to the state legislature from the 54th Assembly District, Culver City voted for its "favorite son" candidate, former Mayor and Councilman Christopher Armenta.

Armenta carried all but two Culver City precincts and amassed 1310 votes compared to Ridley-Thomas' 744 votes.

Yet it was not enough to overcome the Ridley-Thomas lead in the rest of the district where he garnered 60 percent of the vote to win the election outright without requiring a runoff.
