Culver Resident Marjorie Farmer Dies at 75

Funeral services for Marjorie Farmer, 75, of Culver City will be held at a later day. In accordance with Marjorie's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Marjorie passed away on November 27.

Marjorie was born January 5, 1938 in Dickinson, ND, the daughter of Tony and Rose (Frank) Rice. She grew up and attended the Iota School #1 in the Emerson area. She would later finish her schooling in south Heart graduating from South Heart high school.

Marjorie began her employment at St. Josephs Hospital in Dickinson working as a nurses aide. On July 23, 1966, Marjorie and Fred Farmer were united in marriage in California. Marjorie enjoyed working at an airplane factory in Southern California for over 40 years. She loved when her family would travel to California so she could escort them to area sights.

Marjorie is survived by two brothers, Herbert (Marlene) Rice and Richard (Leona) Rice, both of Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Rose Rice; husband, Fred Farmer; and one sister Dorothy Rice.
