Theft from Vehicle:

On October 22 at 5:50 pm, a victim called the police department to report that unknown suspect(s) stole her car battery. The victim said she parked and locked her 1996 Honda in the 4100 block of Madison Avenue on October 21 at 1:00 pm. When she returned the next day at 3:30 pm her car would not start. She lifted the hood and discovered her battery missing.

Stolen Vehicle:

On October 23 at 10:10 am, officers responded to the 3900 block of Sawtelle Boulevard regarding a GTA investigation. The officers met the victim who told them the following; he parked and locked his 2004 Toyota on October 22 at 10:00 pm. When he returned the next day his vehicle was missing.

Attempt Residential Burglary:

On October 23 at 3:41 pm, officers responded to the 11300 block of Rudman Drive regarding an attempt burglary. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he left his residence locked and secured at 7:00 am. When he returned at 3:30 pm, he opened a side gate and saw a male running through his backyard. The victim said he checked his residence and discovered his screen door had been cut. The suspect did not gain entry to the residence. The suspect was described a male Black, 20-30 years of age, 5’10 to 6’0, with short hair.

Burglary from motor vehicle:

On October 24 at 10:50 am, a victim came to the police department to report his work van had been burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked h is van on October 23 at 5:00 pm. When he returned the next morning he discovered the passenger door lock had been broken and his property missing.

Street Robbery:

On October 26 at 3:50 am, officers responded to the 3700 block of Robertson Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she was walking on Robertson towards Lindblade Street when she was approached by a male suspect and grabbed her purse and removed her property and fled the location. The suspect was described as a male white, 22-25 years of age, 6’0 to 6’3, thin build, wearing a baseball cap and black sweatshirt.
