Gallery to Host Opening Night Reception

October 10, 2013

Hinge Modern Gallery, a full-service art advisory and art collection management company located in the heart of Culver City’s famed Art District, announces its upcoming exhibition by Mitra Fabian, “Stratagems”, and opening night reception.

It will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 6 pm to 9. The body of work by the Bay Area artist will remain on exhibition at Hinge Modern through November 16.

Located at 8558 Washington Blvd., Hinge Modern is open to the public Thursdays through Saturdays from 1 pm to 6. The gallery’s director and curator, Caspar Martin, is pleased to show Fabian’s works at any other times by appointment.

“Stratagems” is a new body of work from Fabian, a conceptual and multidiscipline artist. Speaking to her continual theme of human activity and its often-complicated relationship to the natural world, this collection of sculptures and drawings depicts organic forms juxtaposed with angular structures.

“By providing a venue for presenting works as concepts in full, Hinge Modern allows artists to show us where they are now and where they are headed, enticing us to come along,” explains Martin.

Hinge Modern is a unique art gallery dedicated exclusively to solo exhibitions by contemporary artists, emerging and established, working in all mediums.
