The League of Women Voters Culver City Unit, in conjunction with Culver City Council PTA, will present a candidate forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3 to prepare voters for Culver City’s November 5 School Board election.

Live television coverage will be provided on cable channel 35.

An experienced moderator from outside Culver City will conduct the forum, featuring seven candidates for three seats on the Culver City Unified School District board: Steven Mark Levin, Kathy Paspalis, Susanne Robins. Karlo Silbiger, Vernon L. Taylor, Claudia Vizcarra, and Robert Zirgulis.

Questions for the candidates may be submitted in advance (through September 27) by e-mail to ca-south@smartvoter.org or by phone to 323-743-3165 (Google Voice). In order to save time and maximize the attention allotted to each candidate, questions will not be accepted at the event.

League of Women Voters and PTA are nonpartisan political organizations devoted to informed and active participation in government. They do not support or oppose any candidate for public office.
