Former City Manager Returns to Southland

Mark Scott, who briefly served as City Manager for Culver City, announced on Wednesday he has resigned as City Manager of Fresno to accept the City Manager’s job in Burbank.

Scott spent two decades working for the city of Beverly Hills, 14 of which as City Manager. He was also City Manger in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Scott was last seen in Culver City at the Annual Mayor’s Luncheon in April.

Scott returned to his native Fresno in 2010 to care for ailing family members.
