Culver Senator Price Faces Runoff in LA City Council Election

 


Senator Curren Price led the vote count in Tuesday’s election for the 9th district on the Los Angeles City Council. Price’s State Senate District includes Culver City. Price will face a runoff with Ana Cubas in the General election on May 21.

Should price win the council seat the Governor will call a special election to fill the vacate term. Assemblymember Holly Mitchell has been mentioned as a possible contender for the Senate Seat.
