Sides Agree In Hockey Dispute

The long National Hockey League lockout is close to ending after the sides reached a tentative agreement last week.

The plan is to begin a 48-game schedule around January 19.

The salary cap is expected to be $64 million. A Staples Center ceremony is planned for the defending champion Los Angeles Kings.
