As of December 16 AT&T has completed nearly 14 network upgrades in the Culver City area since January 2011.

Along with these upgraded cell sites, AT&TR17;s efforts are paying off in strong network performance, including a 30% percent improvement in keeping calls connected in Los AngelesR12;including here in Culver City. ThatR17;s 30% fewer dropped calls in the second quarter of 2012 (April through June), compared with the same time period last year.

The state-of-the-art improvements are expected to give Culver City more ability to handle a growing volume of calls, video, Internet and other data. The expanded Culver City wireless network is part of AT&TR17;s $1.7 billion investment in network improvements throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, including Culver City, from 2009 through 2011.

R20;the goal is for AT&T customers to have an extraordinary experience on its 4G LTE network, where customers can download, upload, stream and game faster than even before,R21; said Ken McNeely, President of AT&T California. R20;As a long-standing member of the Los Angeles community, weR17;re always working to upgrade and enhance our customer experience by investing in the local wireless network.R21;

AT&TR17;s 8,000 percent increase in data traffic in the last four years has been the call to action to keep pace and stay ahead of the growing demand for data. To increase capacity, AT&T has added new cell sites, enhancing in-building coverage, increasing data speeds and, most importantly, servicing and tuning the network all to improve the customer experience. ItR17;s like adding lanes to the highway so it can handle more traffic.

AT&TR17;s advanced network provides several important advantages for customers. AT&TR17;s mobile Internet network provides customers with the ability to talk and surf at the same time.
