“I am honored and encouraged by the decision of voters of the 54th Assembly District to re-elect me to serve them,” said Assemblymember Holly Mitchell (D-Culver City), who was first elected to represent the 47th Assembly District in the 2010 State Legislature, and was elected to represent the newly configured 54th District last week.

“During my first term I conducted more than 20 hearings on the impacts of budget cuts to service programs and the Governor signed into law all 12 of the bills I got to his desk. I pledge that in my second term I will be even more committed and energetic in addressing the needs of my constituents and fellow Californians.”
