Dear Editor

Visual instruction is key to learning. So just imagine the power of sharing a math strategy with manipulatives, viewing pages of a book, illustrating a diagram, or presenting a science investigation so all students can see it clearly.

This is now accomplished with ease using our document camera. This device instantly projects the image of any object placed under the lens. It can also take a digital photograph, which can then be transmitted to a computer.

Funded by a grant sponsored by CCEF, the document camera is a tool that is now an integral part of daily instruction from language arts and math to art and science. Thanks to the Education Foundation this technology has provided the power to facilitate a higher level of learning for every child.
