Ghostwriters To Appear In Culver

October 10, 2012

The Independent Writers of Southern California will present a Panel: “Ghost Stories: GHOSTWRITERS Emerge to Discuss Their Craft” on Monday, October 29, 7:30 pm a Veterans Memorial Building , 4117 Overland (at Culver Boulevard).

There is free parking adjacent to the building; enter on Culver.

Have you ever seen a ghost? For its October program, four “ghosts” will come out from the shadows to discuss why they sometimes trade visibility as a writer for the projects they receive—the ghostwriting of other people’s books. In addition to the upside of ghostwriting, they’ll offer tips as well as a look at the challenges and pitfalls you’ll want to avoid and occasional bumpy ride that you will have to negotiate.

Panelists will include Tammy Beck, a proficient columnist and author of the award-winning book, “Single Past 50, Now What?” and of the award-winning blog, “Witty Woman Writing,” Bree Barton, Chief Creative Officer of BusinessGhost (recently featured on ABC’s “Shark Tank”), Claudia Suzanne, a recognized book-industry authority, and Sage Knight, a Los Angeles-based speaker, author, self-care columnist, writing coach, and single mother of two. .

The moderator will be Robin Quinn, who has been in the book publishing business for more than two decades. She is a book coach, book editor and ghostwriter.
