The monthly meeting of the Culver City Democratic Club will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building in the Rotunda Room, 4117 Overland Avenue at the corner of Overland and Culver Blvd.

The topics of the meeting will include the November Ballot Propositions and Culver City’s Measure Y, the half-cent sales tax increase

Eric Bauman, Vice Chair California Democratic Party, will speak about the statewide propositions and Culver City Councilmember Meghan Sahli-Wells and former Culver City Planning Commissioner Marcus Tiggs will be speaking on Measure Y.

According to President Bill Wynn the club is lining up other speakers on the Measure Y discussion.

The meeting is open to the public and there is no charge for admission.
