for August 13 through 20

Residential Burglary:

On August 14 at 7:43 pm officers responded to the 12200 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he left his residence on August 12 at 8 am and had left his bedroom window unlocked. When he returned on August 13 at 8 pm he discovered his property missing.

Car Burglary:

On August 15 at 9:15 pm a victim called the police department to report her 2002 Mazda had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 9800 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 6:30 pm. When she returned at 8 pm she discovered her passenger rear window was shattered and her property missing.

Residential Burglary:

On August 17 at 9:35 am officers responded to the 3900 block of Prospect Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers responded and met with the victim who told them the following; he locked and secured his residence on August 16 at 9 pm. When he returned the next morning at 8 am he discovered the screen door had been removed and his property missing.

Theft from Vehicle:

On August 18 at 11:15 am a victim called the police department to report that his property was taken from his car. The victim said his 2012 Kia was parked in the 4300 block of Globe Avenue on August 18 at 2:15 am, when his home surveillance camera recorded an male suspect enter his unlocked car and remove his property.

Residential Burglary:

On August 18 at 8 am officers responded to the 8900 block of Carson Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers responded and met with the victim who told them the following; she said she left her residence locked and secured at 8 pm on August 17. The next morning she received a call from a neighbor saying her home had been burglarized. She responded to her home and discovered her front window was opened and her property missing.
