For August 7 through 13.

Car Burglary:

On August 8 at 5:25 pm a victim came to the police department to report her 2012 KIA had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 9800 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 4:45 pm. When she returned at 5:10 pm she discovered her car’s front passenger window was smashed and her property missing.

Attempt Commercial Burglary:

On August 8 at 2:04 pm officers responded to the 5800 block of Adams Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he secured the location on August 7 at 1 pm. When he returned the next day at 2 pm he noticed the screen to the front door had pry marks and damage. The suspect(s) were unable gain entry.

Battery:

On August 12 at 3:41am officers responded to the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Overland Avenue regarding a battery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was asking his manager about his paycheck and two of his co-workers grabbed him and dragged him out of the location and punched him several times. The victim was able to break free and fled the location.

Vandalism:

On August 12 at 11:40 pm a victim called the police department to report her 2001 Honda had been vandalized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 5800 block of Doverwood Drive on August 2 at 8:30 pm. When she returned on August 12 she discovered the mirrors on the car had been damaged.

Car Burglary:

On August 13 at 5:08 am officers responded to the 5800 block of Dover wood Drive regarding a car burglary. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her car at 6:45 pm When she returned the next morning at 4:50 am she discovered her front passenger window had been shattered and her property missing.
