Over $5,000 Raised For Culver City High

Airport Marina Ford and Ford Motor Company have partnered to help raise money in support of Culver City High as part of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program.

Culver City community members helped raise over $5,000 for Culver City High by test driving Ford vehicles and hosting a car wash during the event. Airport Marina Ford worked with Culver City High to host the one-day event lat the school.

More than 200 people test drove Ford vehicles and for every test drive Airport Marina Ford donated $20 to the local school to help fund programs that have faced harsh funding cuts.

Since the start of the program in 2007, Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program has raised more than $10 million for over 1,500 high schools across the country. The monies raised during the Drive One 4 UR School program have helped fund extracurricular activities like sports and band programs, helping to ensure that these programs continue in local communities.

“It was great to see so many people came out and supported Culver City High. The event not only raised much needed funds for the school, but it also provided us with a great chance to showcase our outstanding lineup of vehicles in a fun, casual environment,” said Dan Theroux, General Manager of Airport Marina Ford.
