for May 1 through 6

Stolen Vehicle:

On May t at 10:45 pm officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen car investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 1994 Honda at 3:30 pm and when she returned at 9:20 pm her vehicle was missing.

Street Robbery:

On May 2 at 8:45 pm officers responded to the 4400 block of Elenda Street regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was walking south on Elenda when he was approached by two suspects. One then pointed a handgun at him and demanded his property. Fearing for his safety he gave the suspect his property. The suspects then fled the area. The suspects were described as male Blacks, 16-20 years of age, 5-9 to 6-0, both thin build.

Residential Burglary:

On May 3 at 1:20 pm officers responded to the 4000 block of Albright Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with reporting party who told then the following; they locked and secured their son’s residence at 9:30 am and returned at 1 pm. When they entered the location they noticed some furniture has been moved and their property missing.

Commercial Burglary:

On May 4 at 3:15 am officers responded to the 11000 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he locked and secured the location at 6:45 pm and at 3:15 was notified by the alarm company of activation. The location was checked by the victim who discovered his property missing.

Vandalism:

On May 6 at 2:30 pm a victim called the police department to report his vacant business located in the 2000 block of La Cienega Boulevard had been vandalized. The victim said the suspect(s) broke three windows and spray painted several walls.
