We are fortunate to be able to vote for Meghan Sahli-Wells for City Council. She is a true visionary and an excellent communicator. I am impressed that Meghan continually demonstrates these leadership skills in her roles with the Downtown Neighborhood Association, the Linwood E. Howe PTSA and the Culver City Democratic Club. And there are numerous other examples.

It is abundantly clear that whoever wins in this City Council election will be faced with some stark budget decisions. When Meghan says her decision making will be based on the values of our community, you know she means it.

Very few candidates for Council know the ins and outs of public finance before they take their seat on the dais. The smart ones do their homework, knowing that shaping and adopting the budget will be one of their first orders of business. I can attest that Meghan will indeed be ready.
