The Upward Bound House will hold its largest fundraiser of the year on November 5 at Sony Picture Studios, Culver City.

There will be a reception and silent auction 6:30 p.m. followed by the celebration 8.

It will be a celebration of the opening of Family Shelter, a new facility provides emergency shelter and services to families with children.

Upward Bound House’s mission is to mitigate homelessness among families with children in Los Angeles by providing supportive services, and advocacy. Since 1997, more than 1,000 individuals – including over 600 children – have graduated from Upward Bound House and are no longer homeless.
