Upward Bound, a nonprofit organization, assists families with minor children and seniors who are experiencing housing crisis. An emergency shelter for families is planned to open in Culver City in the near future.

Culver City Exchange Club is helping that effort by donating funds to support the center. Tracy Woodbury, Director for Upward Bound, is pleased that the Exchange Club has offered its assistance to families in crisis.

President Bob Montgomery explains that the Culver City Exchange Club’s primary mission is the prevention of child abuse and helping to fund emergency shelter for families is a program that meets that goal.
