On October 2, Best Buy celebrated the grand opening of its 45,000 square foot flagship store in the Westfield Culver City Shopping Mall by giving back to the community.

In July members of the Best Buy staff delighted Culver-Palms Family YMCA Preschoolers by donating several hours to paint the four Preschool Classrooms, each in a bright and different color. This was followed up on October 2 by Best Buy General Manager Noel Jiminez – accompanied by Magic Johnson -- presenting a check to the branch for $3,000 to support the programs and services available at the Culver-Palms Family YMCA, 4500 So. Sepulveda Blvd.
