Head coach Tyronn Lue has led the Clippers into another appearance in the NBA Playoffs. The Clippers will take on the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The defense has put new life into the Los Angeles Clippers' sails, revitalizing their performance on the court. Despite facing challenges during March, they secured victories in seven out of their last nine games. Just when it appeared that all hope was lost, the Clippers navigated their way back into winning waters. It's as though they've rediscovered their momentum and are sailing smoothly once again.

"I think our defense has picked up," head coach Ty Lue said. "It's been a lot better. We're paying better attention to detail and bringing the physicality and rebounding the ball well, but our defense is holding us up."

Los Angeles will face the Mavericks in the first round, but whether they'll start at home or on the road remains to be seen. The Clippers are good enough and have the potential to defeat any team, but they have also shown that they can lose to anyone. However, they are dealing with some recent injuries. Kawhi Leonard's knee continues to give him trouble. It frequently flares up and swells, and Los Angeles can ill afford to lose him at any point in the playoffs.

Also, James Harden's play has been sporadic recently as he has dealt with a shoulder injury. The Clippers may shut down critical players like Leonard, Harden, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook as they focus on maintaining their health for the playoffs. Despite their ups and downs, they have what it takes to compete and defeat Dallas. However, having complete confidence in them is hard, especially if you look at their history.

The Clippers are in fourth place in the Western Conference with a current record of 51-29 with two home games remaining on their regular season schedule. They face the Utah Jazz on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the Houston Rockets on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
